Rites
To acquire rites, send in an XP request (+xpreq rite name/level=cost).
Rites cost 3 XP per level. They can be free if you choose to spend time, not XP: 1 OOC week per level. If you are choosing to spend time, not XP, then submit the cost as 0. For example: +xpreq/Rite Of The Fetish=3/9 to pay for XP, or '+xpreq/Rite Of The Fetish=3/0 to wait 3 weeks.
Once you've created the +xprequest, add to the +job it creates to state who is teaching you the rite. If you are spending your initial character generation XP, point that out in the request: such requests do not require any explanation since it's part of character generation.
Then, roll to the job: learning Rites requires an Intelligence + Rituals roll vs 10 - Intelligence. To do this, the command is +roll/job=job# intelligence + rituals vs X. This applies regardless of if you are paying XP or using the wait method.
If you fail this roll, then you have to pay the XP.
