The Occult: Wendy is well versed in all matters of the Occult, and at what is a very young age. Alongside her twin sister Lilah they would gladly go into deep conversations about it.... but how deep?
The Weird Though easily distracted, Wendy can find focus eventually amongst the right people, and if Lilah is with her the duo can end up being awkward but personable in a slightly off sort of way. Are you strange? Different than the norm? Then Wendy will get along with you better than most.
Are You Familiar with the Book of the Dead?
Wendy and her sister Lilah are both natural-born mediums (Merit: 2 pts), deeply attuned to the occult and gifted with the ability to see and speak with the Dead, be they ghosts, spirits, Wraiths, or otherwise.
While that alone sets them apart, Wendy's story doesn't end there. She is one of the Dead now, a Wraith who was a medium in life and remains bound to her twin sister in death. Their connection is unbroken, stronger than ever, and often unsettling.
If Wendy appears in a scene with Lilah, she has manifested, materialized for that moment. There will be times when she is present but unseen, her voice or influence felt rather than witnessed. But when Lilah is there, rest assured, Wendy never strays far.
If your character can commune with the Dead, or is one of them, then Wendy and Lilah could be ideal narrative foils, allies, or warnings.
Given the compact and supernatural-rich world of a MUSH, it is only a matter of time before Wendy crosses paths with someone who seeks to dominate or enslave spirits. If that is your character's intention, tread carefully. Wendy wasn’t created to be just another trophy in the hands of a Giovanni or Tremere. She is not without defenses, or allies.
If you are a character that can commune with The Dead, or... is dead, then Wendy and Lilah could be perfect for you. But given the supernatural-rich world of a MUSH, it is bound to finally happen where Wendy will encounter a player who wants to subjugate and control spirits. I would ask you make that decision carefully when dealing with Wendy, I didn't create her to be trapped by a Giovanni or Tremere and made a slave, but I don't mind the idea of being manipulated in some way.
