Ulf/Introduction

Ulf Thorson, known among the Garou as Bloodhammer, is a young member of the Get of Fenris tribe. He was born in a hospital in Trondheim, Norway in 1969. He was raised within the bawn of a caern located in the Jotunheimen National Park, a protected 1,151 square kilometer national park in the counties of Innlandet and Vestland in Norway. Like most of the children of that Sept, when he reached high school age, home schooling ended and he attended high school in the nearby city of Lom, Norway. There he took up powerlifting and boxing, joining his school's teams for each sport.

Tragically, his First Change was triggered by the grief of hearing about his father's death. Ulf's father, Torvald, was a Garou and alpha of a very aggressive pack. They assaulted an offshore oil facility owned by the Pentex subsidiary, Endron International that was located in the nearby North Sea off the Norwegian coast, west of Bergen. The facility was deliberately leaking oil and when Ulf's father's pack attacked, it was defended by a Pentex First Team detailed to protect the Endron facility. The facility was destroyed but at the cost of Torvald's life. His pack brought his body home where he was honored, buried in the Grave of Hallowed Heroes. After Ulf had his First Change and he proved himself as a new Garou Cliath, it was felt he should carry his father's Ironhammer and he was given the Rite Name, Bloodhammer. A name he lived up to, using it to smash Endron Oil facilities up and down the Norwegian side of the Scandinavian peninsula.

Ulf could not gain the satisfaction he craved in Norway though. Endron International's holdings there were scant, his revenge not satisfied by disrupting what little Endron had in that land. He learned they had extensive operations offshore of Texas in the United States. His mother was a dual U.S./Norwegian citizen so he filed Form N-600, Application for Certificate of Citizenship with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and immigrated to Houston, Texas. In Houston, he is much better placed to smash and disrupt Endron International where he can actually do some real damage.
