Maintain Fruitful Kin Relations +1 After 6 months of play, if you can point to some obsercable, positive outcomes with kin characters (you protected them, taught them, provided resources). N/A at Rank 5.
Sacrifice Treasures For Community Variable You are sacrificing something represented by Background dots. You get Honor equal to those background dots. It must be for the benefit of anyone but yourself. You do not get this resource back. Example: releasing the spirit of your level 3 Fetish gets you +3 Honor.
Uphold Your Commitments Despite Adversity +2 You are expected to uphold your commitments (promises, sept positions, etc.) in general, but when something is sabotaging your ability to do so or you must make sacrifices to complete your commitments, that deserves Honor.

This includes obfuscating critical information from the unvetted, gatekeeping access, and innovating security measures. Does NOT include fighting threats that already broke in.
Preserve And Pursue Knowledge +1 Redeemable max 2x a month. Either...
  • You learned or taught another how to use a Gift or a Rite.
  • You trained up someone's skill set as mentor to a dot rating of 2 ('competent') or higher.

Purify Wyrm-Tainted Places, People, Things Variable

  • Ranks 0 and 1: You did it at all.
  • Rank 2: You overcame a specific obstacle (security measures, enemies) to do so.
  • Rank 3+: You overcame an obstacle AND eradicated the source so it will not re-occur.

Get +1 more Wisdom for each rank tier requirement you fulfill while being a lower rank. So, if you, at rank 1, overcame an obstacle and eradicated the source, you'd get a total of +4.

Secure Certain Proof That Someone Is Of the Wyrm Variable

You surfaced verifiable evidence that goes beyond accusation, rumor, or coercion. This evidence is something people can observe, not your word alone that you used Sense Wyrm.

  • +2 for exposing humans, kinfolk
  • +3 for exposing objects or areas (e.g. identifying a Pentex front)
  • +6 for exposing a shifter
Follow Mystic Signs With Discernment Variable

You acted meaningfully on an omen, prophetic dream, spirit riddle, or supernatural sign in a way that guided your decisions.

  • +1 if it reveals useful information or a minor supernatural resource (talen, spirit contact, hidden locus)
  • +3 if it secures a strategic or tactical advantage, prevents a major failure, or averts significant harm
  • +5 if it validated major prophecy that alters sept, faction, or regional conditions in a lasting way

-0.5x Rank Honor, double if it involves the use of a fetish. Does not apply to reasonable self-preservation in combat. One of the following:

  • Took drastic/escalating action in the presence of others not suited for combat in response to harassment/insult/intimidation.
  • Decision-making protected one's ego, status, or resources at the knowing expense of allies.
  • Refusal to course-correct in the face of new information led to otherwise preventable consequences.
  • Failure or refusal to step aside in a matter after conflict of interest is identified by self or others.
  • Refusal to compromise or accept an imperfect solution fails to prevented a major escalation or imminent harm.
  • Decision to hoard critical knowledge or resources creates avoidable work or hardship for allies.

Repeat Your Past Mistakes -2 -4 Wisdom at Ranks 4 & 5. The wise learn from their mistakes. Based on your current Rank rating, not the rank you were when you first made the mistake. A "mistake" is something you have previously lost Renown for.

Wisdom Among The Gurahl

The Gurahl view healing, teaching, and nurturing as sacred duties that require both compassion and steel. They are they are called to heal the sick, nurture the needy, and teach the supplicant, even when it costs them dearly, and walk the balance between unconditional care and harsh judgment: they must cherish cubs while culling corruption, heal the sick while punishing the guilty, remember history while adapting to new needs. Other Fera may encourage restraint or even retreat, but Gurahl wisdom demands you stand and tend the wounded. Unwisdom for a Gurahl means failing to care or failing to hold accountable.

You held someone accountable (including yourself or allies) with proportionate consequences. Higher reward if punishment was unpopular but just.

You pursued justice for a murdered Gurahl/innocent, saw it through to completion. Must involve actual consequences for perpetrator, not just investigation.

You cited historical precedent that changed current strategy, or preserved important knowledge through teaching/recording. Must show concrete impact.

You protected or mentored young shifters/kinfolk at personal cost.

Fail To Avenge Wrongful Death -Rank A Gurahl or innocent under your protection was murdered and you took no action despite having capacity.
Allow The Tainted To Spread -Rank You identified Wyrm corruption but failed to cleanse or contain it despite the power to do so.
Forget Your History -Rank You repeated a well-known historical mistake, or failed to teach important history to cubs/supplicants despite having responsibility to do so.
