Freya Asulf was born in Bergen Norway in March of 1972.
Parents were Kinfolk away at college in Bergen, dated and during senior year had their daughter Freya.
Growing up, an aunt bought Freya her first camera for her 8th birthday. Aunt is an amateur photographer and over the years taught Freya. Her love for photography only grew from there.
Enjoyed rowing and canoeing growing up. Joined the Lom high school sculling team as a freshman and was on the team all four years.
Graduated and at age 19 performed 12 months mandatory active military service in the Norwegian Army followed by 7 months in the Reserves.
Parents exerted constant pressure on Freya to marry. Things came to head when they tried to push her into an arranged marriage with a Get elder she regarded as a pig of a man. A young Garou in her Sept announced he was going to journey to Houston, Texas. This gave her an excuse to join the journey and evade the arranged marriage her parents wanted.
Hence how she ended up here in Huston, trying to find her way and embark on a journey in broadening her horizons as a photographer.
