Rhys/Introduction

Rhys Velen is a recent transplant to Houston, having arrived after several years in Austin, Texas. Originally hailing from Hot Springs, Arkansas, he dedicated his time at the University of Texas to studying Library Science, specializing in Archival Information Sciences. After graduating, he continued to work within the UT Libraries for a period before accepting his new employment in Houston. Generally quiet and reserved, Rhys keeps strictly to himself, driven by a cold, meticulous focus on his work as a Rare Book Archivist here in Houston.
