Sept Guidelines Sept Foo. Background Kristos "Stormwatch" Zarkov was forged within the fires of Gaia's war with the Wyrm. The son of a Sept Alpha out of Brooding Sky in Victoria, Romania -- Kris was trained from childhood to one day rise-up and lead. The competition was fierce within his home Sept, with countless challengers frequently rising up against his father. The elder Zarkov was a strong and proud man, who successfully triumphed over each, but sadly his confidence and skills did not aid him when he eventually fell to the Wyrm. Fearing for the future of her pre-changed son, as Kristos was only 12 at the time, his mother 'Raini' fled the pack with her boy and decided to make her way to America. They settled in and found acceptance among the Sept of the Palisade in Weehawken, New Jersey. It is there that Kristos would eventually experience his first change and grow to be a formidable warrior in the battle against the Wyrm. He spent a great deal of time under the private tutelage and care of Kinfolk which honed his mind, while his constant trainings with those of superior rank tested his mettle and battle prowess. Unlike many of the Garou, Kristos made drastic efforts to try and integrate and mingle with those outside of their own society -- believing that if he truly wished to be a Sept Alpha someday, he would need to have the diplomatic skills and knowledge of all worlds to best lead his Sept. Unlike some of his Tribe, he began to find a use for those of the varying Fera races -- believing them to be a necessity in the ongoing war. In his mind, had Gaia truly wished them eradicated, she would have allowed such during the 'War of Rage'. Those that survived the purge are merely a testament to their greater purpose in her long plan. Blessed with an infinite amount of charm and charisma, the Shadow Lord found himself rising quickly within the ranks of Garou society. He was not without his flaws, but his adherence to Honor and the will of the spirits, such as Gaia and Grandfather Thunder, proved to be greater than the sum of his faults. While he had held positions within his Sept from Wyrmfoe, to Warder, to eventually Master-of-Challenges -- it appeared as if there was always something greater just out of reach. Visions of a better way, one of unity and prosperity, began to infiltrate his thoughts even during the day. And it was not long before the spirits started to push him to expand beyond the Sept that had been his home for the past thirty years. The spirits were calling him to Houston -- the partake in a 'Unity project' in an effort to build the ultimate army for the upcoming war against the Apocalypse. Always the obedient son and sworn arm of Gaia, he bid his farewells and began heading south to Houston -- to claim his rightful place in the annals of the Silver Record. To relieve Lunafreya for her time served so she can complete the next step of her mission and take up the helm -- carrying the Sept into the next phase. Sphere Tribe: Shadow Lords Faction: Gaian Auspice: Philodox Breed: Homid Rank: Elder Description Towering at around 6'3", this man creates quite an impressive physique. With a body well-honed by years of training upon the battle front, the outlines of his corded muscle tone can be gleaned beneath the fine linen shirts constraining against his form. The top few buttons are left undone, offering a peek at his scarred chest beneath. His shirt is tucked neatly into a pair of crisp dark linen trousers which hang perfectly tailored against the pair of obsidian leather boots. Upon occasion the entire ensemble is completed with a complimentary jacket -- though it is frequently cast aside in favor of the less regimented style. His olive-toned complexion is a bit on the darker side, golden due to the amount of time spent under the sun-kissed rays with classic masculine features bordering upon ruggedly handsome. A constant shadow of growth adorns his chin and cheeks to create a roguish air of danger. Dark brows, thick and pinched with a devilish arch, loom above a pair of piercing blue eyes. Chiseled and strong cheekbones create an aura of majesty about the man to harken a noble ancestry to tribalmates of old. Thick brown hair, so dark it is nearly black, is drawn back by a leather cord into a clean ponytail which falls a few inches past his broad shoulders. The only jewelry found upon him are a series of braided leather cords in a ceremonial manner with a single agate pendant and a gold signet ring upon his right ring finger bearing a raven carrying a lightning bolt in its claws.
