Her mother died when she was a small child, leaving her police officer father to raise her on his own. Little did he know that would lead to her eventually following in his footsteps once she'd graduated high school. Less than two years into the job, her father was killed while on duty, which changed the trajectory of Emma's life. She quit her job as a police officer for the city, taking some time for herself before eventually becoming a Park Ranger. Stationed in Sam Houston National Forest, she spends most of her days out there, enjoying the quiet and peace of the area. Her mother was a Child of Gaia Garou and her father kin to the tribe, meaning that Emma's been involved with the Community her entire life. She's always known what she was and she's always helped out where she can. In more recent years, she's kept mostly to herself, spending a lot of her time at the Ranger Station and out in the forest. While she's kept involved with the Community, it's mostly been in the background. Grief comes in waves and they seem to have ebbed enough that she's finally felt like being around everyone again.
